Side by Side Psychology is a private practice and is a full fee for service business. Payment is usually required on the day and EFTPOS facilities are available.
The current cost of a session is $250 per 50-55 minute session for Director, Kate French. Therapy fees for the other Psychologists are currently $220 per session (Valid till 30th June 2024).
Depending on your situation and referral there are a number of options to have the cost of your sessions reduced through rebates or government funding schemes.
The most common schemes which may affect your out of pocket costs include:
- Medicare (Mental Health Treatment Plans, Autism Assessment and Treatment sessions and Chronic Care Plans which all require a GP/Paediatrician referral)
- Private Health Insurance
- NDIS eligible clients who are Self Managed or Plan Managed
Side by Side Psychology does not accept referrals where there is indications of therapy for Family or Children’s Court purposes.
Professional Supervision for Allied Health Professionals such as Psychologists, Social Workers and Occupational Therapists is available upon request. The fee for this is currently $240 per session plus GST.
Kate is a Board Approved Supervisor for provisionally registered psychologists and can also supervise for Clinical Endorsement for Registered Psychologists. The current fee for this is $240 an hour plus GST unless it is included in employment.
