Kate is a Clinical Psychologist and a Board Approved Supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia. This means that she is able to provide supervision for Psychologists who are training via the 4+2 or 5+1 Registration pathway.
Kate is also qualified to supervise Registrar Clinical Psychologists who are Registered Psychologists, but require 2 years supervision by a Psychologist in their area of endorsement to become Clinical Psychologists.
Kate’s areas of interest is autism spectrum disorders and mental health difficulties, such as anxiety, depression and obsessive compulsive disorder. She is also a strong proponent of positive psychology interventions such as mindfulness focused therapies and body based interventions that incorporate the whole family.
Kate is open to expressions of interest from psychologists that are either completing their 5+1 who have a specified interest in child and adolescent mental health, autism, or are Registered psychologists completing their endorsement period, should they wish to complete this period of supervision whilst being employed at the Side by Side Psychology practice.
